He started his career at the prestigious Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) in Mysore, India. Because of his excellent industry credentials and experience, he has also worked as an independent consultant for the fabrication and installation of fermenters and bioreactors, especially in breweries and distilleries. Mr. Kadappu realized the need for good quality enzymes that was not easily available in the Indian market. With this thought in mind, he established the first company, Triton Chemicals way back in the year 1980 for manufacturing enzymes like Pectinases for food processing. Triton was operated with a strong focus on R&D for developing innovative processes for enzyme manufacturing. It was later in the year 1993, he founded Kaypeeyes Biotech for manufacturing high quality enzymes and probiotics for the animal feed supplement market and other related industrial applications. Even at Kaypeeyes Biotech, he initiated various research programmes to come up with a comprehensive portfolio of enzymes and probiotics. Today, relying on his vision and innovation-driven spirit, Kaypeeyes Biotech has emerged as a strong science-driven organization in its field. Mr. Krishna Bhat Kadappu currently serves as the M.D. at the company. Facilities We have robust manufacturing plants in the Hebbal Industrial Area of Mysore, India. We also take pride in a world class research and development centre based at the Food Industry Complex Area in Mysore. The setup integrates a fully dedicated pilot plant for the exclusive use of the R&D centre of KBPL and is also certified from Department of Scientific & Industrial Research(DSIR) Government of India.
